I own a Nikon Coolpix S9. It's hot pink and small enough that I can take it with me. It has 6 MP and it takes awesome pictures. I was just wondering what kinds of cameras everyone else has.

I use a Canon PowerShot A530 and I love it. I take it with me, everywhere. I have taken some awesome pictures with it. Surprises me since it has on a 4X digital zoom but is 5.0 mega pixels. Not bad since it only cost me about $130.00
It has many settings as well as macro whcih is nice for taking pictures of bugs, bees and flowers.
I love it. I don't know what I ever did without it.
I also use rechargeable batteries for it. This way I keep regular batteries out of the landfill.
Happy Snapping.

I guess you could say I'm really lucky, cause my camera only uses a rechargeable card battery that lasts a pretty long time. Only downfall is it takes 2 hours to charge it, so if you run out of battery power, you're screwed.

Gee, well you can always get another battery so you have an extra one, charged and ready to go. {If it uses trickle charge} Otherwise when you know you are going to need the back up, charge it the night before.
My Moms Camera uses the same kind as it sounds like yours does.

Wow! I got the same model as yours, except my is silver. I like its sleek design and carry it in a nice little bag with me. It is indeed small and easy enough to carry, but taking those long-distance shots can be a pain sometimes, good thing I don't have to do many of those!

Yeah, long distance on that camera is hard, especially when it says camera is shaky. Or do you wanna delete this? it's blurred. I dunno why it does that when it's in zoom mode.

I own a Sony W-120. It is very good for an amateur photographer like me. It has many features like steady shot and automatic flash, which I find very comfortable and easy to use. Overall it a a very easy to use camera which gives very good picture quality and is most suited for non professional photographers.

My weapon of choice is a Canon PowerShot A460. It was the first one my mom gave to me when I graduated from High School. I told her I wanted either a camera or an iPod or a cellphone, but I knew I was asking too much. My mom and my older brother still gave it to me, anyway. Teehee.
A year and twenty thousand pictures later, I found out that the lens of my camera was broken, so mom went to the service center and had mine replaced with a PowerShot A470. I like this one much better because it has a higher resolution compared to my previous cam. [A460 has 5.0; A470 has 7.1] I also like the fact that the screen's bigger, and it's a little thinner compared to my last one.

That sucks about the first camera, but it's cool that you got a better on out of it. ^-^

My first camera is an Olympus point and shoot , I forgot the model. The second one is a Nikon D80 DSLR. Its a nice camera for a beginning photographer.
