Do you turn notifications on?

When you accept a new friend in MyLot do you turn the message notification on?
It is automatically set to off so if you want to get emails about their posts you must go to your friends and turn the notification on for that friend.
I go about once every couple of weeks and do this. I suppose that I should get into the habit of doing so more often. What do you think?

The truth be told that I do accept every friend request but I often dont remember to turn on the notification so that I can get their post in the mail.Honestly I didnt know about it until a friend told me about it .I plan on turning them on in the future though as there are a few friends who would love to know when they start a discussion .The problem is however that I dont check my email often enough and also when I do it is often to mass select and delete most of what I get as this is in most cases spam anyway and so I would be worried taht many good emails from my friend would get deleted in the process.

i have plenty of friends, so i cannot turn the notifications ON for all my friends.
i just have to choose some.
but i always go to the discussions on the tab "friend started" and browse from there.
happy mylotting!

When I was new in mylot and was making friends, I would always keep the notification as ‘on’. with passing months however, my inbox would just get blocked with so many notifications and it was a real hassle deleting them. So now for newer friends, I don’t keep the notification on. but everytime I am on Mylot, I will definitely visit discussions started by my friends and in this way I am able to participate in my friends’ discussions.

I have an extremely large list of friends, so turning all notifications on is not an option for me. I do have all of my referrals 'on', but none of them are active right now anyway, so it doesn't make any difference.
I do have a few I should go turn on, but now that the list is so large, it's difficult to find people.
I wish myLot would put that button on the profile of those you are friends with.

Hi! I do turn notifications on whenever I accept a new friend here in myLot. This way I get to know them through their discussions and responses. But I'll never hesitate to turn notifications off once I feel I can no longer stand a member-friend's series' of discussions. I did this once here before because I felt that the member-friend was posting discussions after discussions just for the heck of it to get more earnings, or so I thought.

Hello keithstieneke! I don't immediately turn the notifications on to my new friend here. I don't even turn the notifications on even to my oldest friend. I have some preference when turning on the notification. My friend should have been responding to my discussion because in return I do respond to their discussion. I just don't want to respond and respond to their discussion but they don't have any single response on my discussion. Besides, when I turned on the notifications of all my friend, with the number of friends I have, probably, I can't get all the notifications and I don't want to miss the discussion of my loyal friends.
