I just want a picker-upper love story right now.
And I also want to know where did you meet your version of The One. Others meet them in coffee shops, in campus... or IN THE CLUB. (-_-")
I've had a boyfriend of 25 months [we're turning 18 on feb. 6 (me) and 10(him)] and he was an altar boy an I was a choir girl when we were twelve. We were crushing on each other ever since, but it took us a few more years to really--to really be an item. Right now it's practically a doctrine that we're together all the time. People find it funny and cute that we've been together... and that we met the same place we're probably going to end up: CHURCH. Haha!!
Where did you meet yours? =)

I met her on an online game. It's quite a long story but there was no passion developed right into the game itself. I'm a bit snobbish in the game coz I'm familiar with crossdressers in some MMORPG. Until the game host conducts a Grand EyeBall for the players to meet their co-players. I saw her but well, at first I dont mind. She was just a beautiful college lass roaming the mall. That's the first time I saw her. It took 2 years before we really became close. I'm a very active of the forums of the said game and so does she. Then we decided (the active members of the forum) to conduct another Eyeball (just a small one) and we (my present GF) finally meet again and we became close since then. In a few months, I courted her and now, she's my fiance. That's how our story goes..

That's--well, odd, to say the least. It's like--that doesn't happen everyday, but it's nice to know that she's your fianceƩ now. I'm just--amazed. :D

I met my special One in highschool. We have been together for over 12 years and married for 3. When we first started going out, we knew that we would end p married. Now we have two beautiful daughters and are more in love today then the day we met. I have to say that there are a lot of people that I know that find it strange that I married my highschool sweetheat, some actually believe that we have missed out by not having other relationships. My personal belief is that if you are in love with someone, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks. We know that we don't want to be with anyone else and we are happy with that. I think that it's great that you are with your sweetheart, more power to you.

Hi Chance(2691)
I like this picture and intresting discussion. Well i meet my boyfriend at my painting academy.HA!! 5 years back. We meet through one of our common friends. all thanks to her. It was nice meeting him but i didnt liked him when i met him first. but somehow things were going good between us, then he proposed me and we were togehter for 1 year, things didnt work out and i broke up. Then i jumped into another relation which was worst part of my life. Then we again came in contact with each other and finally we both realized that we both love each other.. Weird!! but thats what happened. Now we both are matured enough to understand each other and really going well and i hope we keep going stronger.
Thanks for the discussion. Have a good day..!!

I actually met mine while visiting a girlfriend when I was 16 and he was 14. Truth be told I couldn't stand him at first. LOL! He would not leave me alone at all! There is a lot more to the story on meeting but lets just say he wore me down it took him about 2 weeks and we have been together ever since.
Almost 27 years together and almost 25 married, 7 biological kids, guardianship of a now 2 year old granddaughter, 10 grandchildren all together, numerous nieces and nephews. It is never boring and I love him with all my heart and hope we are together for many many years to come.

I am married. We met 4 years before our marriage, and in a strange way. I contacted him on the internet. First we became net friends, and then we started talking over the phone. Then we finally met. So it took almost 2 months from the first mail to the first meeting.

I met my husband actually through the guy I was "in love" with in high school. Good thing that did not work out. But he was always really sweet and I never really though of him as more than a a friend until I really needed someone. He was there and now going on four years of marriage and a two and a half year old to show for it. I couldn't be happier. It was not the Cinderella story I had always hoped for , but it is something I will never forget.

I met mine about 9 years ago at Pizza Hut. I started there as a driver just before Christmas, and he'd been working there a few years already. We both only worked part time there.
Problem is, at the time I was already in a relationship. At the time I had absolutely no interest in the man that would become my husband. I wasn't "in love" with the guy I was with, but I was stupid for being with him. He was a jerk, he treated me bad and cheated on me. Still I stayed with him for a bit over a year.
By the following Christmas I had broken up with my boyfriend, and was really good friends with my husband. I still wasn't interested in dating him yet though, so we stayed good friends.
After a few months I started realizing I had feelings for him. It started slow, then I was just head over heels for him. Then one night something happened between us, and the next day I wasn't interested in him anymore. It's like the flame had just burnt out, I can't explain why.
So for a week I didn't speak to him at all, then he sent me an e-mail and said he felt bad for what happened. I didn't want him to feel bad, he didn't do anything wrong, plus considering his history, I realized he had expected a relationship after that happened, and instead he got the silent treatment. So now I was the one feeling bad.
We got back to being friends, and it didn't take long for my feelings to come back again. But this time I was going to be more careful.
It was a couple days after my birthday in May when something happened again, this time I didn't have any awkward feelings afterwards, but I still told him that we weren't in a relationship, we were still just friends. But after it happened a few more times, I figured we might as well be having a relationship.
We got married 2 years after that. We've now been married for 5 and a half years, and we have 5 beautiful, healthy, happy children, and we're happier than we've ever been in our lives.

I met my husband at the video store that's about a half mile away from my mom's house. At the time, I had just graduated high school. He was 24 and I was 17. I thought he was cute and kind of had a crush on him for a while. I thought he had the most beautiful, honest, and kind eyes I'd ever seen. I kind of knew that we would end up together. Through a little help from my husband's manager at the time, I went in and we exchanged numbers. We've been together ever since our first date, 8 years later.

My husband literally showed up my doorsep one afternoon. I already knew his mother, she watched my kids for me, but I had never seen him at all. He lived in a different state most of his life due to some crazy circumstances. Anyhow, he came over with this story about needing to use a phone to call his grandfather and told me that the house next door, his grandfather's (Where he was staying) was locked. As it turned out, he made the story up just to meet me. A few days later, he was at his Mom's when I went to pick up my kids after work. I had some furniture delivered to my house, but needed help moving it in. I asked him to help me and we've been together ever since. The joke is that he made the first step to meet me, but I sealed the deal by asking him to help me move furniture.

I met my hubby 5years ago when we were still in college. and we both stayed in a dormitory, he was on the all boys side dorm and i was of course at the opposite side, at the for all girls dormitory. The dormitory is located inside the the university he was back then a chemical engineering student and on his 4th year. I was new in the community since i was still a sophomore. When there are activities held for dormers, i usually just hide behind my seniors. And there was this game of odd couple where the senior pick couples a and bet on them to win. So there we met. we did not won the game, we were 2nd placers. And after that the magic began and everyday is magic. ^_^

My sister and her then boyfriend went to college with this guy and my sister wanted me to meet his guy. She pointed him out to me but I was to chicken to go and introduce myself to him. I was 17 and he was 21.
Well a few months later I met him at a Community Christmas dance and I fell in love with him right then and there. We started dating after I turned 18 and have been married now for 31 years. We have two children and are expecting our first grand baby. And most people said it would not last.
