I am disturbed by the current wars in Israel vs Hamas, LTTE Vs SriLanka etc. Is there no peaceful solution?

The war in any country is result of two (or more) countries inability to come to an agreements. Usually agreements include money, power and resources. The main things world has always fought for. I don't think people will understand that war is caused by several people who in their angriness couldn't come with solution for their drama. These several people play with their natives as with rag-babies. The war is weakness!

For me for as long as each country or party would not compromise to stop the war the cycle of violence will continue on. It is indeed disturbing that in the process of fighting one another there are numerous civilians that become a casualty to their fight. Many lives are displaced because of these wars and peace is never achieved as they will both live in anger with one another. Talks is the best wihtout any arms at hand but I guess that is too idealistic.
