A lot of new generation painters are gaining popularity in the international art scene, it is sad though that seemingly these artists are not getting support from the government. Considering that these artists can help the country to gain revenue and respect, is our government throwing away our painters' talents and push them to go to other countries because of this lack of support from the government?

hi melvill, you're definitely right, its disappointing that we cannot nurture our own talents because our government is busy covering up their anomalous transactions. Thanks for posting!:-)

Spoiledbrat802 is correct. i don't see why inventors and artist cries for help to the government. like you said, other countries support them, but not necessarily the government of that country. from what i believe, our government cannot commercialize and engage in any business of sort. for example, if an inventor invents something, philippine government cannot buy that and be the one to distribute that. yes, other countries can support them, coz they have cash to spare. we're third world if i need to remind you.
