do you like teachers who are serious or jovial

Well according to me a teacher should be jovial to the students in attitude but serious with respect to studies.

I like those teachers who are friendly and frank.Our history teacher was perfect in this regard. I don't like serous types of person as we used to have one as our mathematics teacher. I don't like him and hence I hate maths too.

Hi, I like teachers those who are jovial enough, I feel, for teaching its not that the staffs have to be strict, even a jovial staff can get work from their students. Also i have seen serious staffs focusing only on bright students, where as , jovial staffs will not see any partialities over students.. And more importantly, jovial staffs will be really praised by the so-called BACK BENCH STUDENTS. And also jovial staffs do have the tac-tics for making each and every students to study well. but few cases are there where a jovial staff will be only chatting and don't make the magic to work. ..but again oly few staffs. .. So for present world situations., jovial staffs will be very apt for the students to njoy their careers.
