Regarding Amway

Well I am a distributor of Amway for the past one year! Hmm, I guess it depends on how you look at things. As a user, I must say that I am getting value for money for the quality products that I am using, however, to see it as a business model, I am not sure how one could say that it's worthwhile. In this past 1 year or so, I had been using every single spare time to push sales and Recruit people into my team, only to earn a miserable $20 per month while dumping in $500 into the purchase of the products. Now, do you think that is worthwhile?

no its not a good idea to go behind the amway it will not success for 90% people who involved in that marketing including me don't spend your valuable time and money to amway instead of that try TLC in bajaj alliance

I was part of Amway Network 21 in India and here my experiance. 1. The products are atrociously expensive no matter what they say. They are priced really high and you will rarely find buyers for the same. eg - Amway scrub is 1299/- for 125 ml and bodyshop scrub is 875/- for 250 ml. Do you really belive amway is better than bodyshop? Same goes for cleaning products. 2. You will spend whole lot of money and time attending seminars ( you need to buy passes), conducting home meeting, chasing people to sign up or buy, buying mandatory CD and books, becoming a amway 100% user etc. Your sponsore and uplines will hound you for more profit and you will be convince to sell more or buy more and or hoard. 3. They will convince you to ignore your family, kids and jobs. They are like soem brainwashed bunch of people. If you say my kid is ill they will say bussiness comes first. All your friends will become potential contacts they will call ands hound your friends nonstop. 4. If you check net profit in terms of time and money end of a year. You will realise that you have pumped in more than you made. End of the day it is not worth the time and money you spend on it. It works if you are on top of the pyramid since amway has a bad reputation now in market it will never happen.
