When I want to listen to fine popular music with profound lyrics, The Beatles comes to mind. Who can argue against the value of the songs "Imagine", "Give Peace a Chance","Yesterday", "Eleanor Rigby", "Till There Was You" and others? These songs are among the best there are in the world. Other songs will be among the least remembered but not the songs of the Beatles. The Beatles inspired people to pursue a world that is better than what we have now.

It's good to know that you're a Beatle fan, tuyakiki! Thanks so much for leaving a comment in this page. It's not just the Beatles' songs that mattered so much in the 60's and 70's. I think John Lennon's advocacy for world peace made the Beatles both musicians and advocates with a truly big army of supporters. Yes, as human beings, they went through the same human problems just like any other group would have been through, but their musical genius made them larger than life.

I know The Beatles songs from my uncle. Almost everyday he sang The Beatles songs. That's what I know and love The Beatles. Their songs are universal, can be received by various circle, a small child to adult.
