Living in the midwest we get alot of snow....and my son (5 yrs old) just started school this year...and has had his first snow day just before the holidays. I have a 5 yr old and a 1 yr old and my husband couldnt get out either to work that day, so we spent the day together watching holiday movies and playing board games.
what is your idea of a perfect snow day?

We hardly ever get snow days....and if we do they are more likely ice days and they are not any fun to play out in.
Last March we had a foot of snow (surpised us all) and we spent the morning playing outside and came in to drink hot choco. Hubby even stayed home that day. I guess that was close to perfect.

I remember snow days being much more fun when I was a young kid. Unfortunately I have no kids of my own, so snow days (days I take off from work due to weather, since I commute between states to get to work) are spent catching up on laundry and cleaning the house. When my husband is home too, usually we watch movies and drink hot cocoa, read, or browse on the internet (if its actually working and our power isn't out!).

LOL, I have to say that sounds alot like my usual days here....as a mother of 2 and house that needs lots of help....and now a school schedule with my son starting school this year. I am constantly doing laundry, cooking for the baby or my son or getting dinner done... and now I try to get on the net more often.
