With the the Democrats taking control of the legislator what changes do you think we are in for in the U.S.?

Clinton was president while Republicans kept control of Congress, and there was checks and balances. With the House/Senate and the Presidency held by Republicans, there really is no checks and balances, any agenda no matter how inept is passed, and any agenda proposed by non-Republicans is thwarted. I think it will be a good thing for Democrats to take control.

Thank you very much. I wa starting to think that noone understood democracy. I am very much against "party politics", but if our government doesn't want to change the party feeling then we must have the checks and balances to even things out. The last couple of years we have not had an equallateral government which to me sounds way too much like communism or a dictatorship.
