When you write a personal letter to a family member or a friend do you handwrite it or type it? It depends on wether or not I am sending an email or a letter via snail mail.Plus I think that handwritting it is more personal.
What do you think?

Hello dfollin! I would rather choose to receive a letter which is handwritten than a letter through typing. I usually wrote an email to my husband but if there's a special occassions, I made it sure that it is handwritten and send it through snail mail. I guess we appreciate more the letters which is handwritten because you will really know the sincerity of the person. I don't know why, but that's what I feel everytime I receive a handwritten letter of my husband.

I think that handwriting is much more personal but I have to type all of my letters because my handwriting is awful. My employees joke that the ability to read my writing is job security! I use email for almost all of my correspondence these days. Not sure what it is but I hate to write letters but emails? I can do that all day long.

since we are now in the age of computer, I use email when I write to my sister and my
brother. I find it easier and it will reach them in a minute. But when I write to my parents, I wrote it by hand because they have no access to computer and if they do, they don;t know how to use it too. LOL. Yes, it is more personal when yo use your hand writing to relay your message. That's what I like in it.

I usually use email but if I write a letter, I actually hand write it. It is more personal.

I most usually handwrite those. I do type some letters out but when I do that, I send it to them in an email.

Type-written letters are only for business. If you're writing a close friend would you write them on the computer and then print it out just to send it in a letter through snail-mail? Think of it this way: if you would send this person a Christmas card and write them a little message, write them a letter.
