My husband is the "King" at whining and manipulating! He's 57 years old and it's one of my biggest pet peaves with him. If I say I don't feel like cooking supper and wonder if we could just snack or have a sandwhich, he'll say " Fine! I was looking forward to eating a good supper, since your such a good cook and your off work today, but if you don't want to cook, then don't!" "I'll just skip supper."
Then he goes off into another room and let's me think about "Poor him!" If I continue to express why I don't feel like cooking a big meal, he'll continue his pity party! UUUGGGGHHH!
If I did that to him, he would take me exactly for my word and not give in! Maybe that's what I should do to teach him a lesson huh? But we are opposites and go around and around! Maybe he's spoiled or taking advantage of me being a Mom of five kids, and here I thought since my kids were grown and gone that my life might be a little easier with less household and dependant resposibilities. Huh..go figure! Thanks Joe!
