If you're not true to yourself, then technically you're not yourself. You're a product of society or the people we connect with. I try not to fight myself too much, but sometimes there are situations where you have to have a bit of self-awareness. That really is the only time anyone should ever question themselves. "Is what I'm doing ethical and will it hurt anyone?" If you don't like who you are, my suggestion would be to try and get out of the rut you're currently in and change what you're thinking and how you're acting. Sometimes this takes a drastic move such as changing your geographic location or your friends. The littlest change can make such a difference. I have changed quite a bit in just a year. I owe that to self-awareness and the friends that I chose to keep. Never make someone a priority whilst they make you an option. Yourself comes first when health of any type, mental or physical, is involved. Get rid of the people dragging you down.

I don't know if I would make big changes until you're comfortable making small ones. Do something differently every day; like brushing your teeth with the opposite hand. You're going to built your brain stamina and help yourself get ready for bigger things. Starting big is only going to hinder your mission. It's like trying to start a diet and stop eating everything you love in one day and go to eating carrots and celery. Not good for you mentally or physically. Slow is better and it'll last longer. You can do it!

I have always been myself. I do not think it would be wise on my part to live and behave accroding to the whims and fancy of the society. Most people live according to the society and thus they are unhappy. I live for my sake and I like it very much.
Earlier, I too lived accrding to the whims of society. But then I sarted logical thinking and I discovered who I am and that was a day of great benediction to me.

Hi there!
I was very happy to find your topic, because it "corellates" with the one I've started about life-chnaging experiences, and the true path into the very soul of existence and ourselves.
Important questions. Looking for the answers IS the path itself (humble opinion :)).
Best of luck: kendal
