Hello fellow mylotters. So happy to tell you that today is our 18th Wedding Anniversary. Time really flies without me noticing that it's been 18th years already. Indeed we have ups and downs but what matter most is that our relationship is intact. And for that, I'm so thankful and blessed. Whatever our trials and problems in life, at least we have each other dealing with it. We're blessed with three children.
We'll just celebrate it simple and yet memorable one with some friends and family.
How about you guys, how many years you've been married? Thanks for sharing.

I am not married but I know that you have achieved quite a feat that has eluded many persons.I suppose when you enter into a relationship with the correct mentality and you are willing to work at it through the ups and downs like you have been then the years can go by quite quickly.I suppose too that children help to form a bond between the two of you .I wish you many more years and would like to let you know that you are a beacon for many single personsl liek me.

[i]Hello ronnyb,
Thanks. Yap, it is not happily ever after. There is a lot of work to do to keep your marriage intact. The children helps but not always.

Happy Anniversary! We are in the neighborhood of 40 years but our anniversary is in the summertime. We like our celebration to be simple, too, preferably with just the two of us. Maybe a dinner out, but basically we like to spend most of that day at home. CONGRATULATIONS!

I remember, Robert, when he and I were first married and we had some friends who had been married FOUR years and we thought that was such a long time! But they were divorced before their 6th and we are still together and quite happily so. The time flies when you are having fun!

Hi robert,
Congratulations on your 18th anniversary. As you said it's a bumpy road and sometimes we want to give up and turn around but then we realize the journey is worth all the bumps the road may have. Detours are also tempting but then we realize if we take the easy way out then we haven't done what we are suppose to do and that is to do everything possible to make our marriage work. All the work, difficult or easy is worth the love my husband and I share. We will be married 5 years in February. Sometimes it seems like a lifetime but I hope we have many, many more years to share.

[i]Hello leenie50,
Thanks. You know what you are talking about. Sometimes it's just easy just to end up and go separately, but it doesn't work that way. For sure it will happen again, so why not work out on it now.

Congrats Robert! You've got a very memorable event in your life. I am now 29 yrs. married and I have not celebrated wedding anniversaries. I should have celebrate my 25th anniversary, but due to many ups and downs and challenges and difficulties in my married and family life, I got no opportunity to remember. I was also blessed with five children. I hope I could celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary. Anyway Robert, you are right that we should be thankful to God for He has been with you in your married life. Continue to keep holding firmly in God's protection and care. You will be blessed. Happymylotting!

Congrats!! Communication are the best weapons in one relationship specially in marriage. And sometimes we need little sacrifice to make sure our children good future. Trials and problems are part of our life, those things make our relationship much more strong than before after the storm.... I'm not yet married but I wanted and I do my very best to make my marriage forever, like my mom and dad forever.

Hi Robert. Congrats on your 18 years of marriage.
My husband and I will be married 14 years come next month, and we've been together almost 17 years. We have two kids together, though my husband wants a third. Yikes! We don't really celebrate our anniversary, other than a little hanky panky.
Wishing you many more years of marital bliss.

Congruduations!
To be honest, I am not married now, I have no boyfriend now, so sad. After graduated from my college, I found this job, for my company is a new one, so the last year, I am busy everyday. Everyday is busy from morning to night, so tired, I have no time to find a boyfriend.
In this year, I will work harder than last year, but at the same time I will try my best to find a person who loves me and I love him.
