I definitely do. I like the freedom and trust I have right now, but I cannot ever enjoy myself like I did when I was a kid. I was carefree and did what I wanted. Now, I have to think things through before doing anything. So I miss my childhood. Do you?

Earlier, I too missed my childhood. But now when I ponder deeply, I can see that there is not much freedom in childhood, our parents and othe elders are busy giving strict rules to destroy that freedom and happiness. It seems we are more free as adults.

There were times when I missed my childhood. However, now, I don't. I live in an apartment with my fiance. And I absolutely love it. I love the freedom that I have with him. I love living away from my parents. I was home over the holidays and I must admit that I was miserable. I'm not 100% sure when was the last time I was happy, living with my parents. I know that it may sound mean and everything, but it also happens to be the truth.
Every time I think about my childhood, I ask myself this: Would I exchange the freedom and happiness that I have now, for the freedom of childhood that I had? And a lot of times, if not all the time, the answer is no, I don't really want to.

Hey,
I just thought about how good my childhood was a few days ago. It was different because there were no burdends like work, College, marriage, kids, etc. You are more free and you can do almost whatever you want. I truly miss those days, riding my bike and doing other childish things. Happy MyLotting!
