how many loads of laundy do you wash in a week? how big is your family, do you have a washer and dryer at home or do you go to the laundrymat? I usually wash 2-3 loads a week for me and my daughter. this week I seem to have alot more than usuall because I have let it go a couple of weeks. I dont own a washer and dryer but we have a laundry room here with 3 washers and 3 dryers and it is allway being used. so what is your typical laundry for the week?

I just have me so I don't have much laundry. Sometimes I have extra to do when my grandson spends the night. I have a washer and dryer in the house. For a long time I didn't have a dryer, I hung clothes outside in the summer and inside in the winter

My little guy will be 4 in a week. He just came back over, he is going to spend the night. He just lives across the street, he likes hanging out at grammas house and spending the night. He says he is going to Marry me, he loves me that much. I wish I could post a pic of him here, but my son would have a cow. He doesn't want any of his kids pictures posted online.

yes, it is hard when you have to go to a laundry mat. I spend about $8.-$15. a week on laundry not counting the detergent.

I do have a washer and dryer in my home. I have to say that I generally could do a load a week, but don't often motivate myself so when I do laundry it tends to be multiple loads.
Now, our house hold is of 3 unrelated adult women. The roomie and I can share tops and I can fit in her sweat bottoms if I need to, but she can't fit in my jeans. Mostly if I wear a pair of sweat pants its really cold outside and I wear them to bed.
So, because of this, we tend to wash our clothes together.
The other roommate... you got me, I don't have any idea what, where, when she does her clothes, but it is annoying when you find that she's taken clean clothes out of the washer, done her clothes and then put the wet stuff back in! She could've at least started the dryer when she started her wash. grrrrrrr

Oh my goodness, I wash clothes every day. I have a year old in the house and she is always spilling, dropping food, playing in food and the clothes always need washing right away. Sometimes I wash around 10 load a day. Sometimes not that many. I just never get the clothes caught up. I sell clothing on ebay and always wash the items and inspect them before listing them. That makes more laundry. There are five people that live in the house and my brother and my daughter both work at night cleaning parking lots with a vacuum truck and a blower, so they get dirty and germy. Their clothing have to be washed daily. It just never seems to end. I do have a washer and dryer at home. Good Discussion.

Hi ladybug, we have 4 persons in our family. My son who works in an adjacent state would come home occasionally. My husband’s eldest sister lives together with us. She prefers to hand wash her clothes. She would ask me to wash her blanket and bed sheet using the washing machine regularly
I still prefer to wash our clothes daily though there is not a heavy load of clothes to wash. I find it’s rather tedious to hang lots of washed clothes on the hanger one by one if washing them once in a week. If washing them daily I just have to cope with a few clothes only so it's easier for me. I don’t use the clothes dryer, for we have sunny day all the time here. Clothes will get dried easily under the scorching sun By doing this we could save the consumption of electric power we do save our expenses
Happy posting!

Hello ladybug. If we have a lot of clothes to wash, we use the washing machine. Otherwise we hand wash the laundry. We have a Samsung Washing Machine, which was bought a few years ago and it is still in good condition though being used so often. So my dear friend, to ease your trouble of doing so much laundry a week, please get a washing-machine of your own to make life easier and more enjoyable. Take care, friend.

I do 2-5 loads of laundry a week depending on the week. I usually wash clothes for myself and husband and son 2 times a week. Then I usually do a load of sheets and a load blankets that we use to cover up with while watching tv on the couch! Everyother week along with the loads I just mentioned I also do a load of puppy laundry, blankets and towels (I breed shihtzus)..... I do have my own washer and dryer in my home.....
I don't mind doing the laundry, I just don't like folding and putting it all away. I do feel good though when its all done!!!

i will do 3 loads of laundry in a week .in our house there is only 2 people and so i do 2 load of our clothes and 3rd load is for towels and bedsheets ,so 3 loads is sufficient for us. and sometimes weekly once i will do laundry for 2 loads one after other.

Hi My husband is a mechanic and we are farmers I also work outside of the home. So we have my good clothing about 3 loads per week since I only have 4 pairs of pantyhose and 3 pairs of pants I have to wash them that often. The he wears 1 outfit to barn in morning and then changes for the garage then a new outfit for barn evenings so that is 3 pairs of jeans or work pants , 3 t shirts in the summer but now with cold it is 3 long john tops 3 t shirts and 3 sweatshirts . I also have barn and shop towels and house linens . so it averages about 3 loads per day and yes we have our own washer and dryer but i love summer when i can hang out my laundry and save money, I also love the smell of line dried laundry

I do two to three loads a week. I do the regular things once a week, and the bedding every other week. I think this is the most effective way to get laundry done without breaking my back in the process. I live in anapartment complex with George, and we have two laundry matts here. I like the smaller one, but sometimes i'm forced to use the larger one.

I do laundry for four of us. I do have a washer and dryer at home as there is no way that I could afford to go to the laundromat and do our clothes. I do at least 10 lloads of laundry a week and usually much more. I try to do at least two loads a day and more if I do sheets and blankets. Laundry is a job that I wish I could pay someone to do.

I sometimes do 3-4 loads of laundry a week. Sometimes more if I have to wash the sheets and blankets that week. There's only 4 people in my family, so there's not really alot of laundry for me to do. It's even easier since we have a washer and dryer in our house. We don't have to lug the baskets to the landromat. I played that game before we got our first washer and dryer. It was not fun.

I live alone so I don't have to wash that much. I have a washer and a dryer so I don't have to go to the laundromat. I wash about two loads of clothes 1 day a week. I usually do this on Saturdays. Since I am not employment now I don't have a time schedule or a special day. I don't have that many clothes to wash now.

I usually only do one laundry a week (for myself) and I have a washer at home. My mum does family laundry around 3 times a week. It's really convenient having a washing machine at home, means I can put the laundry in at midnight if thats the only chance that I get!

I do laundry every Tuesday for 5 people. The entire day is devoted to laundry and nothing but. I usually have about 10 loads to do and it takes about 10+ hours of constant sorting, pre-treating, washing, drying, folding, hanging stuff up and putting everything away where it goes. I actually enjoy doing laundry but if I had to do it every day I wouldn't. That's why I prefer to knock it out all in one day then it is over with for the week. We have a washer and dryer in the house and I am lucky to have a laundry room to work in. I've done laundry at a laundromat before and I would much rather do it at home.
