REF : DIVORCED should be legalized due to human kind necessity factors;[/b]
1. needs extra safety once found physically jeopardized to the respective party,
2. unmanageable marriage out of the harmony marriage,
3. no longer suitable case between both parties,
4. freed one party from any blackmail factor made by one party to another,
5. breached the prime law of marriage, including vow,
6. property ownership disagreement factor,
7. chronic/lethal infected health factor,
8. some degree of provocative pride factor,
9. to the extension of inevitable, when divorced is a must, &
10. national and citizenship factor.

Yes, it should be legalized.
My parents have been on argument for years because of how expensive annulment is. Plus the time. Good discussion, Heart. I just hope PGMA will support this discussion. Ahahaha!

For me, I am not that idealistic nor conservative, yet I would submit that DIVORCE SHOULD NOT BE LEGALIZED here in the Philippines.
Divorce as you mentioned is not the solution when the couples are in trouble working out their marriage. Divorce is the ABSOLUTE MARRIAGE BREAKING. In the first place, if we instill in our minds that there is divorce - a way out to marriage, then marriage loses its essence being a sacred bond.
For a marriage that is full of abuse, there is a way out to that. There's R.A. 9262 as a defense for women who are physically and verbally abused. There is "Adultery/Concubinage" for those who are unfaithful.....Other grounds have its own defense to be filed against the violator.
Marriage is not an ordinary contract that could be trashed out when it's no longer working. It isn't a garbage when no longer used and needed should be thrown away...As humans with brains, we have to make discreet decisions. Worse attitude of us sometimes is we always love the easier, shorter and faster way. We hate compromises and taking consequences of our decisions...Problems have its solutions and if a marriage is in trouble there are other options, not just divorce.

I'll stand for what I believe that divorce should NOT be legalized in the Philippine.
Legalization of divorce will only promote broken homes and less effort for husband and wife to protect the sacredness of their marriage vows. It will destroy the values of the Filipinos.

According to me, divorce should be legalized in all countries. But unfortunately, there are many people who are against divirce.
To be against divorce is odd because there are so many reasons for a divorce. It would be an abusive relationship, or it would be some other problem.

if they wish to be married they could ,at the same time if they think they are not settling good they can get divorce, think that if by mistake you pick a wrong guy and later you come to know about his true colours will you with him foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ?,no way there will be no divorce if they love each other truly madly deeply.....
i wish the divorce rate should come down .........

I am not in favor of divorce so it should not be legalized.God designed marriage for a life time.Marriage is not a trial and error process that if it doesn't work, couple will separate.I don't think it's a good idea.they should work on it for the marriage to last and not end to divorce.I still value my wedding vows.
