without informing the house owners?...
Since we went home to Manila for the holidays,we decided to drop by our house that we rented out to a couple who are based in Japan. Only the wife's mom and the couple's 7 year old son lived in our house. The house has a tall iron gates so we cant see the door from the outside. When the wife's brother opened the gate to let us in, we were very surprised to see instead of our very nice woodedn front door, was a screen door! The wooden sides were taken out to accomodate a very ill made screen door. I wanted to cry...that made us inspect the other doors. At the side was a double frenc door...oh, it was now seconded by a very crudely done door with chicken wires. Imagine that! We could never put ourselves on those renters brains why in the world would they destroy our doors. It is definetly in the contract the tenants could not change or build anything without the owners approval. They promised to take out the screen door and the chicken wire door...but I am sure they could not be able to put back the nice side wooden reams...grrrr.
