Ipod vs Flash drive as storage device

Flash drive are known to be used as storage device. Same with Ipod, It can be used to store electronic data aside from music and movies such as document files, installers or softwares etc... depending on the free space available. If you were to choose, what do you think is the best to buy or to have if both have the same price?

i think would be safe to actually have a falsh drive for storing electronic data,because u wouldnt want ur ipod to infected with a virus when you plug in a dif computer
