Do you have an idea if re bonded, relaxed or straightened hair will be permed? Even after a year or so?
I wanted my hair to be permed. But I'm not sure if the effect of the treatment will be good. So I am seeking advice from you.
I have my hair semi-re bonded a year ago. Today, I visited a small type salon and sadly they don't offer the service I wanted (hair perming). As I ask the attendant about my query he seem not so sure about his answer. So I beg you. If you have an idea please do tell me.
Thanks!

i also got my hair rebonded 2 years ago and regular hair relax every 6 months but im also planning to have my hair permed if my boyfriend would allow me. i think we should consult a hair expert in our trusted salon to know what are the possibilities :D

Well, as long as it comes down to using chemicals, you don't have to worry much.
YOur concern should be the condition of your hair after perming and whether the chemical the salon uses is good for you.
I personally rebond my hair & have been asked to perm by the stylist. But nah.. i prefer my hair flat. Now that you've rebonded moe than a year ago, you don't have to worry about having your perms not fixed. Because when you perm, you're required to use the special cream and twist your hair (or so what my friends do) every day to maintain those curls.
