I work in a different area of the city not too far from home but somehow we had an immense amount of crime in December and following months. I'm not exaggerating but at least 10 places got robbed in the past couple of months, including one right next to my work yesterday. I've started a discussion about armed robberies not long ago and most responses were sensible ones, but it looks like procrastinating might become a real-life situation lol
Have you noticed an icrease in the amount of crime in your neighborhood?

Amount of crime in a neighborhood is a topic that brings along a helluva lot of implications with it! And sometimes, those least concerned with any of those end up being the ones affected! I seriously think that the reason why criminals are 'inspired' to haunt a particular neighborhood is because of a lack of unity among the people residing there. It can be a problem in cities where everyone is busy doing whatever it is that they do, but a certain level of unity can function pretty well in mitigating the wrath of criminals in a particular area!

That's a very good point, also it might be due to the proximity of the area to downtown,I've heard people say that living downtown has gotten too expensive so there might be a lot desperate new folks out there.
