Free shares? This is weird

Just came across a thing called "me2everyone", which is a web site preparing to launch. It looks like they're planning to do some kind of 'Second Life' thing or just an online community, but they're recruiting registrations. The weird thing is that they're giving away shares in the company. For free. I don't see how we can lose on that - if it's all crap, we get a little spam. If not, we get money. Anyhow, the URL's in my profile, as usual. Thoughts?
