Have You Responded To The User Who Had Given Your Response As The Best Response?

I don't really receive notifications about best response :) So I wouldn't know if somebody gave me one or not. However I also don't expect people to give me best responses or to respond to me when I give them the BR :) I think it's the system that we have to follow so I don't expect much from it :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Hello balacancer. I always respond to the users who give me the best responses with thanks, which is a habitual action of mine. I always appreciate anyone who gives me the best response as an award. I am sure that you will get more and more best responses as time goes on. Cheer up and keep posting and posting. Take care, my dear new friend.

Hi Bala, Yes, I do the same. I have seen that many people sharing their happiness and gratefulness to those who provided the BR. But initially (when I was new in mylto) I didn't replied, at that time I thought that it may be a violation of guidelines but later I find out that it is necessary and many are doing the same and nothing is happening against them. So I also started to give my gratitude. Of course receiving a BR will give us pleasure so we should at least say 'thanks' to them. Good luck.

I have never done it as myLot guideline s states that comment only if you have something different to say, but what you are saying is also true...Saying thank you is all we can do but myLot rules doesn't allow that. Have a nice day!

Hi balacancer! I always thank some one that chooses my response the best. I usually thank everyone who comments in my discussions too. I think that a simple thank you can go a long way.

Thanks for reminding about that. I never used to respond to the best responses, thinking that this act may not be appreciated by the moderators. Later on, i came to see seasoned myloters responding to the best response.I guess it is ok. I have seen remarks like : thanks for the pencil/best response/B.R etc. what do you write??

I do not always go back and say thank you. But I do go back and see if a response has been made to mine. If one has than I tell them thank you. I really don't expect other members to thank them for giving them a best response. as I know most members time is limited here on my lot.

Yes, I try to always thank the person who gave me best response. It's always nice to be appreciated, so I like to show them that I appreciate them choosing my answer! I also like it when people thank me for best response. More than anything, it shows me that they've taken the time to come back to my discussion - they didn't have to do that after all.

I always thank the poster for giving me best response. It's the polite thing to do.

I feel that it is just proper MyLot etiquette to respond to a user who has given your response as the best response, for sure. I think that it keeps the MyLot community going strong. It shows that you have acknowledged their choice. It is nice when someone acknowledges our choice of best response also. I enjoy to review the discussion and find that the author of the best response I chose, made it back to leave a comment thanking me for choosing their response as best. I always thank the poster of the discussion for choosing my response for their best response. It feels good that I have been chosen, of course. Thanking the poster just goes without saying. I always respond to a user who chooses my response as best response.
