Definitely. I have a Mac and while I agree that they might be pricier than regular low-end laptops, they are worth the price. Do you want to stop worrying about the viruses? I can download anything I want without being nagged by Norton or whatever it is. Also,Macs look much cooler and more professional than PCs(personal opinion) and I've seen quite a few Djs use them remotely. That's what's good about Macs-you can share screen and files if you're in the same network,I even share screen with my parents who are thousands of miles away lol And lastly, you won't have to download all sorts of music software as Apple has quite a lot of good ones-Garage Band, for instance. My advice is if you decide to go for Apple, you should buy extended warranty and Pro Care, that way you'll get VIP service for your comp and won't have to wait in line.

Well, you can buy a used one on Ebay but then you'll have to worry about the warranty and all. I think it's still worth it considering that you won't have to get any expensive antivirus or stupid Windows updates, besides,if it breaks down you can go to the Apple store and if a PC breaks you're pretty much bummed

Hey, Personally I have never got an Apple Laptop. But some of my friends have and they are REALLY worth the price in my opinion. Especially the latest ones out, they come with an aliminium finish and a nice glass screen. REALLY worth the price! Hope this helps!

I do not have a Mac myselfbut my brither swears by them. My wife just bought a new laptop with vista and has had nothing but trouble with the operating system. Microsoft has been no help either. After weeks of working with Microsoft, my wife fixed some of the problems herself. When she told Microsoft this they asked how she fixed it. The other problem is that some programs and hardware o not work with the new operating system. My brother has had Macs since the apple II and the new hardware and programs still work with his oldest Mac.
