I can remember all this talk about ecology back in the 70's. I think it was Robert Redford and a little girl on a TV spot telling us to conserve water by turning it off while we brush our teeth. That was back when water was "free" and we drank it right out of the tap. We seem to have plenty of it now becuase we buy billions of gallons in little plastic bottles that we, in the US, cannot afford to recycle. Yes, I heard that it have to ship loads of the bottles to China to be cleaned, chopped and sent back becuase it is cheaper then doing it here.

hello neil, I guess thats the way the world is moving forward these days & it will continue. the feasibility & possibility of sticking to nature is declining day after day. Do you think you can manage to take direct tap water any more. People want cheap & convenient methods & the plastic bottles provide them with that. In my country i have seen street children collecting the used bottles & selling them to the packageing factory. I guess they would be reusing it just by cleaning once. Thats the way it goes. To have a safe & green future, efforts & awareness have to be mae from now. Have a nice time at mylot.

I just puchased a fleece hat and gloves made out of 50% plastic water bottles. I guess that is a start. They were pretty cheap. But, normally anyting dubed "green" cost more. Have a good Day.
