My sister almost finish her internship in medical school by march 2009. Im really want to give her something that will be used for long time. And one thing comes to my mind... i wanna give her a nice stethoscope brand LITMANN. But the problem is... i dont have enough money to buy it. Hmm... i saw in ebay.com that there's some latest model for litmann stethoscope... And price is not cheap since its really brand new... I really wanna give her something. Im thinking one way of getting money to purchase one of stethoscope in ebay.com and i should be more active in mylot.com. Do you think i will be able to buy the stethoscope asap? It means i need to spend 24 hrs in front of laptop to type as much as million discussion per day to reach around 300bucks? Hmmm... this is the very first time in my life... i will give something important for my dearest sister. im not a type of person that easily express my feeling. and its really makes me feel something while im going to give her a gift. I wanna congratulate her not only with words, smile, hug... but something that matter she will use it during her work... and it is a stethoscope. a very valuable thing for a physician. Her success is a great things in our family, because we're not rich. Its simply a miracle and blessing from Gid and good things that comes after hard work of my parents and my sister's spirit of reaching the dreams. And now... im typing here, trying to earn bucks at least to buy her a valuable thing.

That's a great idea. Good luck on getting the money together. Maybe you could make a deal with your parents, or an aunt or uncle - you save as much as you can between now and March if they will let you borrow the difference. Then you can pay them back in time so that the gift is all from you.

Im shy to borrow money from people. The idea in my mind is getting money bymyself. My aunts n uncles are in indonesia and difficult to contact. My parents will not allow me because my sister already have her stethoscope. My father bought it when he had extra money from working. But its an old stethoscope. I just wanna buy for her new one. Thanks for nice sharing. Have a nice day!

Wow! Your sister is a very smart, dedicated person to be finishing medical school! And you are a very special sister to want to give her something that is both valuable and useful as a gift. I don't know how much you need to earn, but maybe if you need the money faster than you can earn it here, you might check with other members of the family to see if they can help pitch in a few bucks to buy this stethoscope. They may also want to give her something special and not know what to give, or think they can't afford anything. A joint gift not only makes the person receiving it happy, but can make the people that couldn't afford it on their own happy because they were able to help give this great gift to their loved one.
