Would you tell someone that you have clogged their toilet?

I know it's not the most pleasant topic but it's a day to day situation. It's not necessarily your fault, sometimes we go to public bathrooms and the toilet's not working properly. You do your business, whether it was tugging at your underwear or something more serious, flush and see that it doesn't work properly. Would you do tell that to employees/owner of the house so they could fix the problem quickly or would you walk away ashamed?

I wouldn't sweat it too much if it was an employer but if it was a persons house who I only knew casually I would feel so ashamed, lol. We actually have the more earth friendly toilets at the apartments I live, they use less what--but they are the P-A-I-N in the butt!!! You cant even take normal dumps in it without getting a clog so what me and my bf do is just flush it continually--can you believe it! I have no shame taking dumps in public so I will do it if it can shave me one at home. I will NOT call maintenance unless its really really bad and nothing works because I have to pass this guy every day I dont want him having mental images of my business, get out of here, dude, lol.

Yeah, the toilet at my parents' house doesn't use much water, either

I have done my Job in the Restroom and then, "I Flush to see it doesn't work".
It sure is the work of the Management responsible to have that fixed, That way i will not be Embarrassed.
What if in case Its happened in a Friend or a Relative's house, thats real Embarrassment!!
Its difficult to decide at that moment what to do next, What if in case they know after i've left their Place; They'll never entertain me at thier home ever again.
