There's a little debate going on between our single moms and their kids. Which browser is better? Yeah, I know . . . if this is all we are arguing about, life must be pretty good. Anway, the moms (except for me) like Internet Explorer, the kids swear by FireFox. What say you?

I found out that when opening up multiple tabs, Opera version 9.63 is more stable than Firefox. For example at the moment I have 50 tabs spread over 2 windows for the past 20 hours, and so far there is no problem. I cannot say the same thing for Firefox. Opera has had tabbed browsing ever since I used it around 7 years ago. It was not popular because users had to pay a licence fee but it is now free.
On the security side IE is the worst. Both IE and Firefox are open to browser hijack. Hackers have been trying to attack Opera but every breach has been closed by thr Opera team.
Opera mat not have many add ons compared to Firefox but most of us do not the add ons. Users can download new skins and change the default colour scheme for each skin.
The Paste and Go is another feature which is still unique to it. This means we do not have to paste an address and press the go button to start downloading the page. Saves time. There are also other changes that a user can make.
One reminder - a few websites do not work well with Opera. It is not a issue to me.
all the best,

permethrin although there are so many topics with the same question but still I would answer you direct Firefox is definitely the best browser ever made. The it is very user-friendly and it is very hard to crash the Firefox browser. You had to do something really stupid or one of very term website to get the Firefox stupefaction. So definitely I will say that it is the best browser ever. There are huge list of advantages of this browser over any other browser available on the net. If you want to know about them than I would definitely suggest you to do a search on global and you'll find all the things which is better with Firefox than any other browser available. The latest version of the browser is three and I would suggest you determine if you don't have it

I am a Firefox girl through and through. I will only use IE if I'm on someone else's computer and that's the only browser they have. Firefox for me is more straightforward, has more interesting options, and most importantly it's not Microsoft! I am not a fan of Microsoft and only run Windows on my laptops. The desktop is always one of the Linux distributions.

Firefox is a browser designed from scratch to be secure, fast and customisable. It is the safest browser available, as it doesn’t contain many of the more obvious vulnerabilities that IE has, such as ActiveX components so often used to install spyware on IE-users’ machines. Firefox is still under very active development by a huge community of volunteer coders, many of whom worked at Netscape in its heyday. If a vulnerability is found, it is corrected and an update made available in days, sometimes hours. This means Firefox cannot fall into the same trap that IE did — receiving no updates for years and having its various security holes get exploited by thousands of hackers and virus writers.
Get Firefox Firefox uses the same powerful rendering engine (code named “Gecko”) which is found in all Mozilla products. This means it has superb support for all those things we web developers love. Its rendering is accurate and fast, and it has advanced stylesheet support up the proverbial ‘wazoo’. DOM support is present and accounted for.
so i think firefox is the best browser.

I am a FireFox convert. Up until recently, I had been an IE man. Unfortunately, I had an issue with IE at one point where it kept asking me to update my Flash player. No matter how many times I tried, it wouldn't accept the fact that I had already done so. At that point, I switched over to FireFox and haven't looked back. There are some issues with FireFox, but only when I try to access pages that are sponsored by MicroSoft. For instance, I cannot access MSN Games through FireFox...but ya know what? I probably shouldn't be wasting my time playing games there anyway! :)

I never use IE if I can help it. I get too much stuff I do not want. I like Firefox for now. That is what I am using. I do have to disable my Norton on the desktop to get Firefox, not sure why.

I use opera 10 alpha as my default browser. I am a great fan of opera since i got internet connection and download it. U already know the feature of opera 9.63, and the latest alpha edition is very fast as it pass acid 3 test with 100/100 score and lots of new feature. I think that the kids has become smarter than their mom and u know who is mom and who is kid.
