How can i make a "free download site" ??

I am looking for a script or some cms to make a website which includes files for download.
It should be ale to list the files easily. and easy to manage.
I am looking for a site similar to http://songs.pk
Please, any help

have you bought domain name for the blog?
If i didn't get a proper script, i will launch a forum and make a site with free music downloads there.(maybe)

will my friend I don't know how much you know about hosting of the website but what you are asking is not definitely a cheap option. The biggest to hurdles with the website of such requirement is the web space. I personally think you have to go for the unlimited web space option because that is the only thing which can suit your requirements. And the other one is definitely the bandwidth. I personally feel that you need unlimited bandwidth and unlimited hosting space to handle such a website.
But this is just the posting part of a website. Managing such a website is not that easy. You have to make a very user-friendly and searchable database so that users can find that very easily and download it. Grouping the downwards will be another big problem and he had to deal with that also. It are very much serious about the website indefinitely you should contact someone with a good programming knowledge so that you can make a database and other sorts of things so that you can easily manage the whole website.

I now have a hosting plan with 5gb hosting and 50gb bandwidth, I am trying with this site. If i am successful in building a good site, then i will consider upgrading to unlimited disk space and bandwidth.
I am still looking for an easy script option to make the site work.

ok, well you need a good host. i use hostgator i currently have the $9.95 per month package. if you use something like smart FTP you can make the links to the files using dreamweaver, ten put the actual files in another folder, or you could just upload them all and show the page as a root directory

It won't be so easy to link the files manually.
I was looking for a php script so that it generates the directory for downloading gynamically.

well... its pretty simple to be honest, i am good at designing, if your intrested ill design you a site and get it all running and host it (unlimited bandwipth and storage space) all for a small fee. please message me if your intrested

You can do it using Joomla. With Joomla you can make this kind of site easily.

I am not that good with joomla.
Which extension will help me to show files as a list for easy download?
and Do i have to link these files manually? i am looking for a script to list it dynamically.
