have you ever met someone that wanted to hook up with you and no matter what you do or say they just don't get the hint... they keep calling and they keep coming back around and just won't leave. like this girl that's trying to hook up with me i ignore her calls and her texts and even her instant messages but she keepss trying anyway... i'm flattered by her efforts but i am just not interested

Oh! I have encountered same situation like yours. It is flattering sometimes, but it came to a point that it's no longer just irritating, but it's threatening. I almost change my number and kept on pushing himself to me.
With your situation, do not just give her the hint. Tell her straight, but in a manner that is not too rude. If she'd hate you for that, then at least you could breath now. Control your temper.
