take pictures of your kids each month until they were a year old? Then put the pictures in a "My 1st year" photo collage? We did that with our daughter. And as of today we will be doing it with our son. Have taken the 1st photo already. It is amazing how much they change.

I did that with my first child. I tried to do it with number 2 but only got about half of his photos. Then with number 3 and 4 I just was happy to do the hospital newborn photo, six months, and a year. I try to do a whole group family picture every year or every other year. That way we can keep track of all the years and everyone's faces - how we all change as we get older.
Have you been able to go and get her photos so far? I know you were getting the photo at one month, but how about since then?
Have a nice day and happy myLotting!!

Wow that looks interesting, taking phoyos of our infants. I am 21 and not planning to mary till 25 or 26. I even dont have a girl friend. But when when my time comes i will surely do it. And i think i will do it on daily basis. Using a high memory digicam which can store all the 365 images.
Good idea.

Hello ersmommy. I am very happy that the hospital where my first son was born helped take a photo of him the moment he was born. He was placed on a scale, a special scale showing the date and weight of my baby. It is a long-lasting memory of ours. We have taken a lot of photos of him, so it is the same with our little son. Happy parenting, dear friend.

We took pictures a couple of days after he was born, for both of my sons. We also took some once they were 2 months old.

Well i never thought about doing that with my son whom i just had but its a great idea and i think we may start doing that. It would be great for him to have something to show to his kids on how he was raised and what he looked like and everything

Yeah they do change that first month alot. Well there was always a camera ready to take pictures of smiley faces or funny ones to add to the album and then their was the pictures taken regularly and put in album but after the first few months it dwindled down a bit. But we have pictures in their baby books as well funny ones or ones to cherish..I hope you got a baby book to write all the stuff you feel about your baby in it and all his information about his first smile, slobber bubble, and the first time his sissy helped changed him or feed him.

Congratulations! It really is amazing how quickly babies grow, and then they're no longer babies. My daughter is 20 months old now. When she was about 1 month old, I started taking a picture of her every day when she was laying on the floor (I took the pic from above, looking down at her). When she turned a year old, I put all the pics together into a video using Windows Movie Maker, so it sort of looked like a time-lapse. As she became more mobile it got really hard to get a picture of her each day because she didn't want to lay still. Enjoy your little ones!

Yeah I have a photo album of it and I put the monthly close up picture in a frame and you can just see how fast he transformed in just a matter of months. I still keep it in our living room and from time to time it is just nice to look at it and reminisce the past.

I took alot of pictures of my daughter as she was growing up. I did not make any colages though. That is a neat idea. They do change very quick.

A month old already? How the heck did that happen? LOL
Yes, I did this with my kids. More so with my oldest. With him I took pictures almost on a daily basis, at least for a while. With my youngest I actually skipped a month here and there, sometimes more. It didn't help that he was deathly sick when he was an infant. Picture taking just wasn't a priority.
I used to wonder why there weren't that many pictures of me when I was little, yet there was a ton of my older sister. Growing up I used to think it was because my parents loved my sister more. But I figured differently once I went through having a deathly ill baby as they went through the same thing with me.
Keep the memories going!
