I was just wondering how many other folks out here on MyLot have relaxation rooms in their homes where they incorporate sensory items to relax. I have a room upstairs where basically I have a mattress on the floor with a heated mattress pad, I have many sensory objects such as water fountains, sound machine, lava lamp, fiber optic lamp, 3-d lighted infinity mirror, etc. If I am really stressed, I will turn those things on and unwind. One thing I do not have yet is some aromatherapy machines. I'd like to hear about your items.

I have my bedroom set up this way. Candles, sensory objects and lighting that is relaxing and smelling so good. Lavender and jasmine and such. Room for a yoga mat on the floor and plenty of pillows.

One item I am looking for is something called a rainfall lamp, they were big back in the 60's and I saw a modern version of one at Wal-Mart, but do not carry them anymore. Basically this "lamp" you fill with mineral oil, and the oil flows down these filaments that look like fishing line. It has a light in the top. Any ideas would be appreciated where I could find one of these unique lamps.

Have you looked at Lowe's? They have a great lighting department.
