New 7 Wonders of Nature.,. Second phase of voting

National qualification of our own natural wonders is over and Puento Princesa Subterranean River of Palawan was chosen to represent our country for the New Seven Wonders of Nature campaign. Coral Triangle which is shared by Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste was also chosen
According to the organizers:
[i]Voting for nominees will continue through July 7, 2009. Then the New7Wonders of Nature Panel of Experts, under the leadership of Prof. Federico Mayor, former Director-General of UNESCO, will review the top 77 nominees and choose the 21 finalists, to be announced on 21 July 2009. The 21 finalists will then be put to popular vote. Voting will continue throughout 2010 and into 2011. During this time, the New7Wonders World Tour will visit each of the Finalists to allow them to present themselves to the voters across the globe.
The final declaration of the New7Wonders of Nature will be in 2011.

hello! I am glad that you posted this discussion her in mylot! I missed the chance to vote for our nominated place and i wouldn't want to miss it this time. I am very glad that were nominated again and hopefully it will win this time.

I thought this was already over and just realized that they are still ongoing. I just don't know hoe long will this last and hopefully that by July it would really be final and over already. I guess this is way too long to select 7 wonders already I just don';t know why they have to make this much longer.

Glad you posted this here, I never would have known there was another round of voting, I was able to vote for the first round and now for the second. So happy that we all Filipinos got this chance to rally behind our representative and I hope all Filipinos here will go and vote for them.

Hello lilyoungfella! I am one of those who voted for the new7wonders. I am so happy that our places here are nominess. I hope many filipinos will be aware and really vote because whatever place will win, as long as it is in from the Philippines, it is still pride of our country.
