I am in north Italy and the winter here, even though it's not my favourite season, is pleasant. This year we have had more snow than usual and now it is freezing almost all day and night but the days are sunny with blue skies. This makes everything look like a scene from a postcard with white glistening snow on the mountain tops. In the streets though, where the suns rays don't melt the snow, it can be very dangerous and slippery and that is one of the reasons I am not so pleased about winter.

Oh I shall have to print this off and use it if I ever get an interview for a job in a tourist office here! 
I remember these crisp, freezing days when midsummer comes and we are melting in the heat. The Italian climate is certainly one of the reasons I stayed!

Wow, that description of winter in Italy is exactly like something someone would say to get me over there! It sounds like a dream land and that description sounds like something a tourist company would use to get customers. That is a good thing, so please don't be offended. 
I have heard that is very easy to slip in many places because of ice. The same can be said for the mountains in Korea as well although the cities are fine.

no, i do not like it. if the sun would shine more it would help. we have had soooooooo much rain. it's very cold & windy tonight,

I live in Canada and winters are cold! I really don't like winters, here. I'm really not a winter person. I get cold easily. However, it is understandable, especially since I'm a small woman. I can't help it. I personally don't know a lot of people, who like the cold.

I also get a cold easily and do not like winters much. I am around 5 feet 7 inches and am a male high school student so I don't know why I am so weak. However, I am used to it because I used to get colds when I was younger as well. Happy mylotting!

Hi snam,i think we are neighbor.I live in China.And in my opinion is a beautiful country.I wish i can have a journey to Korea.
And like you i don't like the winter in my country too,It's too cold to go outside.I hate it.

I live in India. Here we enjoy this weather. We wait for winter. Because for the rest of the year, here it is too much hot. And in winter we also can have fresh vegetables.

I live in the United States, in New Jersey. The winters are very cold. Cold breezes. You really have to dress warmly and this winter, and the one before it, there's been a bit of snow. I don't mind the winter. The only thing that bothers me is I live in a highly populated area where many people don't own, but rent apartments. They choose not shovel and there is ice. It's hard not to fall.
