Rock Band Versus Guitar Hero

We have both games and recently added the drum set, bass guitar and Microphone to our collection to add to the family fun. We bought the Rock Band Kit and our friends bought the Guitar Hero Kit. After having the opportunity to use both I have to say that the Rock Band one is better than the one made by Guitar Hero. Have you had the chance to play these games? If so, which one do you like better?
