Do you think it proper to wear flip flops going around?

These years, more and more people, esp. girls are seen wearing flip flops going around. Leather shoes without heels become a fashion and are accepted in school and office. They might be comfortable in hot weather, I admit, but since men are imposed rigid clothing requirements, why should the girls be exempted. That is not equal treatment, either.

for me it depends on the occasion. if you will just go to the mall to shop, or a walk on the beach, or go to a friends house, or have a picnic with your kids; flip flops would be a great help! When it says formal occasions or when your company has a dress code including the shoes to wear, why wear flip flops if you would suffer the consequences at the end.

I wear flip flops when I go out, but not when I go to work. Flip flops are unprofessional. But going to college it was okay to wear flip flops, but maybe not high school.

Well, it is a style... new style for new generation. I wear them and it is easy and comfortable to wear. But I never wear in the office tho, only go to the mall, shop here and shop there... I dont like high heel tho cuz it hurts my feet. So I dont mind wearing them around and everyday life style.

because we can wear shoes with fashion.LOL i mean, it is not nice to see men wearing flipflops going around the malls. right?
but if possible, why not try wearing it.
