Have you got trust issues?

Some of us have bad pasts, some of us dont. But if YOU personally have trust issues, whats the reason for them? Does it cause arguments in your relationship? How do you know you can trust the person your with, even when they do something that could hurt you / if they are keeping something from you? Would YOU check your partners phone if you had a suspicion?
