Do you stay in the restaurant for a long time after finishing your meal?

Hello again, youless. It depends on how I feel as to how long I stay in the restaurant when having a meal with friends. If I eat alone, I won't stay long there. But if it is a big dinner with many friends, usually we talk while eating until we think that it is time for us to leave. There are times when we colleagues sit together eating at a very expensive restaurant. We eat and talk and have a lot of fun because we enjoy the nice atmosphere there in the restaurant. Here is one of the photos I upgrade for you to have a look. I am also there with my colleagues around the table.

No I wouldn't stay in a restaurant for a long time after finishing the meal. I would leave a short while after. If I want to catch up with friends for a long time, usually we will go for a drink instead.

I too leave the restaurant immediately after finishing my meal.I do most of the talking with friends while eating.If we have to talk more.We pay the bills and then we sit in a garden to talk.

i do enjoy sitting around after i get through eating, i smoke so i like to do that sometimes even enjoy having a cup of cooffee. i have a friend that i go out with & soon as she swallows her last bite she's ready to go. don't get to go out too often & i sort of like to stretch it out abit.

me too.I don't like those guy stay at the seat for such a long time after finishing the meals especially at the busy time of the restaurant.If it is not busy,the kind of behaviour is acceptable.

I could stay in a restaurant all day long if they'd let me. I feel guilty and don't stay long after they bring the bill. Sometimes I get dessert and a cup of coffee after a good steak and salad. Don't forget appetizers and doggy bags! hehe

No dear! I would leave soon after I have had my meal. Normally I go to a restaurant with family and we do leave soon aftetr the bill is paid ,irrespective of the crowd seen in the place.It would look odd if we sit for too lomg after we have finished our meal .Is it not?

it depends.. when we go out as a family, we normally eat during errands.. so we would finish our meals quickly to continue with the errand, and do not sit at the restaurant for long.. but if i go out dining with friends.. we do take our time.. and normally we would order more food, just not to offend the restaurant owners.. but if we do see that the restaurant is packed and people waiting for seats, we would not stay long.. and find elsewhere to sit and chat..

If I am dining alone or just with my own family we will always leave as soon as we have finished eating. But when dining with friends, we like to visit and will sometimes spend another hour just talking after the dishes have been cleared away. If we see the restaurant is very busy and they need our table, we will sometimes leave and go somewhere else for our visiting.

It depends. If I am having meal alone, I will leave right after i finish the meal. There is no point to stay there wasting our time right. But if we are going out in a group, usually we will stay there and has some chit chat. Maybe 2 - 3 hours chatting none stop. Sometimes we do feel abit shy to use the table for so long, but i cannot meet with my friends so often. Happy mylotting

I really don't like to stay behind either if I have finished my meal. If I am with other people, I do wait until they are finished and we may stick around just to finish off our drinks and then we leave. Normally the most that I would stick around is like 5 or 10 minutes afterwards and then leave. Most of the time though I am the last to finish my meal in a resteraunt and we always leave then when I am finished, or even sometimes I will get a doggy bag and then leave.

it would depends and i think it is alright for us to continue hanging out in the restuarants even when we finish our meals to chat or mingle around. the reason i choose to dine in a restaurant is because of its atmosphere and environment to allow me to chat with my friends/family members and at the same time to dine. If i cannot stay in the restuarant then i might as well spend my money on eating elsewhere and then chat in starbucks for coffee.

I don't like eating alone in the restaurant,if necessary i will pay for it and leave after i eat.It makes me uncomfortable eat alone in the restaurant.Maybe sometimes we eat together and talk much after dinner. Happy mylotting....

after i finished my meal, i will smoking first..after that, i will leave the restaurant.. i dont take long time at restaurant

I know it's embarrassing but we also can't just leave right away since we still love to talk and we know it will be a long time again before we will meet again! LOL! But for regular time, we always leave after eating![/i]

Never. Because I usually eat alone in the restaurant. So I will just eat there. After finishing my meal, I immediately pay the bill and leave. But it will different if I eat with my friends. We will stay long in the restaurant (our favorite restaurant) as if we book it exclusively LOL.

i can stay longer there specialy if i am waiting for someone.i dont set there without ordering something.its imbarassment if you dont buy something.

It depends. If there are lots of people waiting around, we would leave once we have paid the bill. If it's not the peak hour (lunch / dinner), and we have things to discuss, then we would sit and talk.

i dont stay in a restaurant for a long time ,when i go to eat alone .quickly after finishing my meal, i walk out of the restaurant.if go with my friends in a gang,we use to eat slowly.we also have a long chat with our friends event hough we have finished the meal.there was a situation,when one of the bearer has told us leave the restaurant.........i feel bad on this.......it us to decide wheather to leave or not ....happy myloting and have a nice day...

It depends really if I am with friends and chatting away then I usually stay a long time, long after the bill has come out if the restaurant dont need the table then that is fine. If I can see they need the table then I will get up and go.
