Does Will Smith Performance in Seven Pounds Deserve an Academy Award?

I must say that I was skeptical to go see Seven Pounds, and I must say that I was extremely impressed by Will Smith performance in Seven Pounds. He has not only matured as an actor, he has perfected his craft. The love scenes between Rosario Dawson were very realistic, this was the precipice that added to the drama of the film. Do you think that this film and acting by Will Smith should be nominated for an Academy Award?

Will Smith is one of me favourite actors.Seven Pounds is great in both plot and actors.

I all agree with all your comments from Will Smith, he is one of my favorite Hollywood Actor and I really admire him as a person. Even though I don't know him so much base on the movies he performed he was really a great actor and I think he can performed any role it gives to him like in drama,action,comedy,horror? how about gay role? I still believe he can do it...

Althought his film is really good I ont think it is his best role so I dont think he should receive an award for it.

Even though I had known the ending of this movie, but I was still touched deeply by Will. So, yes, he is great actor, and Seven Pounds is a good film to watch.
