What Is True Love?

It does not matter if you have been married for ten or twenty years, or if you are single, what is the body and feeling of true love. How long does true love last?

True love will last beyond the grave!!!!! and you cant explain it or rather I cant you just know thats it true its a feeling not words a feeling that feeds the soul and just turns your world upside down in a good way

One of the reasons why I posted this was to bring awareness to the depth of love. Love surrounds us everyday, but many people take love for granted. And yes love does turn our world upside down - and yet it is all in a wonderful way.

Well my idea of true love is having someone in life who understands me and loves me for who I'm even if I'm not perfect, I think that true love is having someone who respects me and I respect them, and I think true love is having a certain kind of bond that you dont have with anyone else, and true love is caring about someone as much or more then you care about yourself I think true love is about being selfless in a way.
But I think that true and real love can last forever depending on how strong the love bond is between to people, and I hope that when and if I find my life mate or partner that I find real love and long lasting love, but one can never be sure about what life has planed for them.

Thank you for your profound words on dealing with the entity of love. I have found in my lifetime that love is every good and wholesome thing that surrounds a person's life, love is the ultimate sacrifice we give. Love also is something that becomes that wonderful mystery we share - indeed, it makes us who we are.

True love is the love which is unconditional. If your love is full of conditions, then that love is false. True love rises beyond that. When you are truly in love, you are ready to sacrifice even your life for the well-being of the other person. However, such true love has declined like anything and has given way to a bogus love which is based on greed.

I cannot speak on the Filipino people culture and custom, but I do know that love is not just one thing, love is everything we know. Love can be a physical love, or it can be a deep affection for something that is very important to one's personal growth. Love is the most important entity we share on this wonderful world. Maybe one day you will find that special love that will set you free.

In my opinion, I think if it is true love then it will last for a lifetime. It isn't true love to me if its not going to last but for a moment. True love in my opinion, is loving someone just because of who they are despite their flaws and being with them through thick and thin.
