How would you feel when you are forced to be away from mylot for a week or two? I had been out from it for a week and I must tell you that it wasn't not a good experience. I mean, I spent like 2-3 hours per day on mylot. It is nice to be back here again.
how about you?

Believe it or not, this is a strange sensations that my subconsciousness tell me that something is missing. It is not even a week, it just for one or two days. I think I've addicted to mylot, and received a great satisfaction from answering others discussions.

Don't you start your own discussions LOL?
Anyways, jokes apart. We are addicted and somehow this is not good for us as doctors say that being addicted to something is not good for our mind.
See me, my eyes are not at its best but still I am working on my pc for mylot!

It wouldn't bother me at all to be away. I'm sometimes off for a couple of months. Even when I'm her most days, I never spend more than an hour or so, and sometimes much less. Mylot is an extra in my life, not a major part of it. If the site closed down, I wouldn't even miss it.

I haven't become succeful in mylot. So when I had to leave mylot for nearly a year last year, I just accepted the situation and I didn't feel much. Now I am back and begin to post normally again. I begin to get addicted to it and I think should I have to leave another time I'd miss all my mylot friends.

Well, I hope that this doesn't happen again.
I couldn't understand the term, "I haven't become successful in mylot". What do you mean by that and how did you get to know that you were not successful here and are you using the same user account this time or a different one?

I know I'd really miss it terribly. I spend far too much time on it already, and ignore a few things I should be doing. It's such a good time, though, I don't want to give it up. MyLot brings such wonderful friends and interesting discussions, it's just a joy!

Without a doubt, this is a very positive addiction! Maybe something like our addiction to breathing!

I feel the same way. I have been practically absent for the past few weeks. (Or more?). I missed it like crazy. But, I just couldn't really be here. And, yes, I DO spend far too much time here. BUT, it is time well spent! I LOVE it!

I actually was away from mylot like for a whole month and did not have a problem with it. But it does feel good to be back. Of course though when I came back I had loads of friends request and I was able to catch up on what was going on around here. Sometimes its good to get away from mylot.

hi there sanuanu!
this is a very nice topic. hehehe. and it fits my situation perfectly, because i had to go on a vacation three weeks ago and had to live without mylot for a bit more than two weeks! =)
i was supposed to buy a wireless broadband modem and account before i embarked on the vacation, but i decided not to in order to save costs (thank you global recession...). as a result, my 16-day vacation was internet-free, but i still brought my laptop along so that i can watch movies, play PC games, record vacation expenses, and serve as "data depository" when my digicam's memory card is full.
anyways, i kinda missed mylot. i missed posting questions and having them answered by people around the world from all walks of life. i also missed sharing my own opinions to others. i also missed the fact that i'm earning a few cents everyday (hahaha).
now that i'm back home, it feels good to be back with good friends here in mylot =)
thanks for reading and happy mylotting!
