Pillow tags

Do you ever take the tags off of your pillows or your mattress? I remember once a while back, my friends parents would tell us that it was illegal to remove them. But when you actually read it, it says tags not to be removed except by the consumer. I can't stand those tags, so I rip them off after I purchase them. But sometimes I have to sew it because the seam ends up ripping. They always put like 2-3 tags together. I hate it when they sew the tags in the pillow.

I hate those tags for that reason alone. It makes me mad that they have them on and make it so hard to remove them. Not to mention that when you do take them off you always damage the pillow or what ever they are attached to that is about the stupidest thing that man has ever created. Pillow tags. Like they cant just print that same info on the corner of the pillow.

lol...especially when the pillow is expensive. I hate it too. They should just print it on like the plastic that covers it or something.

haha i think that was on a Serta commercial, where the sheep decided to remove the tag and the police came to arrest them. Not sure where that idea popped up though. And yes, I do take the tags off, they can get very irritating at night when they scratch your face.

I always take the pillow tags off. It is not illegal to take the tags off. It says as one of the other responses said not to be torn off except by the consumer. I can not stand to let the tags on the pillow so I take them off.

The tags used to say that they could not be removed under penalty of law and it had no exception. The part now that says "except by consumer" was added because it was a really stupid law.
