I wouldn't say or do anything. It's her pet, her food, her spoon, her perrogative.
Now if she wants to feed her pet my food, with my spoon that a different story. I would say something.

If I'm at her house, no I would not be offended. grossed out definately, but not offended. I would also hold my peace and shake my head about it later. However if she was a t my house and did something of this nature I would probably just ask her not to feed the pet from the table and see if that got my point across.

Not if she has a dishwasher. I feed our dogs from our regular dishes, which some people have a problem with. But since the dishwasher gets the water super-hot, it kills any germs. It can make you feel a bit nauseous, but as long as you aren't expected to it...
Our dogs get bites, but only after we've finished and only small tastes. She could be hurting her dog with the salt she's giving him.

That is gross! Tell me she didn't then presede to eat off the spoon or fork after the dog had licked it, please tell me she didn't.
I love animals but i'd never do that.

Ewwwwww, I have seen it done so many times, yuck. I know people who feed their dog from their fork and spoons, or give them bites off their food. If an animal touches my food or my fork I am done with it. That is just to gross for me. I don't say anything, but I am tempted to remind them that the dog licks his butt, yuck. I don't like it when animals lick me neither. And I am an animal lover too, I have a house full of them.

so long as s/he isn't using MY spoon or fork, or the serving spoon or fork, s/he can put what ever s/he wants in his/her mouth, I just won't be kissing him/her later on it....
I quilify that because I'm not kissing a her anyway, but I wouldn't kiss a him if he did that.

It's a bit gross, that's forsure, but it's their house, their pet, their food, and their fork, so what can you do? I think it would be a little rude if you were to say something to them.
I remember a time we went to my husband's aunts house, and she has 2 poodles. She'd let them up on the table and everything, even if there was food on the table. I am an aminal lover, but I'm not really comfortable around dogs, so I wasn't pleased with these dogs being allowed on the table. I didn't say anything, of course, but I don't think we've been back for a visit since then.

I might not say anything at that time because I don't think I would know what to say without hurting her feelings. I don't feed my animals like that but I have heard that a lot of people do. I would be careful about eating at her house from then on.

Even though my friend is a big animal lover ,It is not healthy to use her same spoon for her dog,Since she loves her dog very much ,Why can't she use separate spoon for her dog ,I am also an pet lover, i too have dog in my house and i have separate food plate for my dog .I think using same spoon is not a way to show your love towards a dog ,Even though it is also a living thing ,there is lot of difference between the man and the animal,So i will advice my friend not to do it again .
