Is it necessary to have updated cellphone?

Well It is not really necessary to have updated cellphone for me.In fact it is really fine for me If my phone is old model or new model as long I can use it for important communication just like calling and sending sms.but anyway,There is a big advantage in updated cellphones too,you can take pictures and safe some files on it or have some adobe photoshop but anyway as long as I can connect to person that i need to contact then its all fine.Keep it up.

It's not really necessary to update one's cellphone every now and then. For me, i just need to do some calls, SMS, save some pictures, add contacts, and organize my schedules. If my cellphone have enough features to accommodate my needs, updating won't be necessary. I've been using my cellphone for more then two years now and as long as it is functioning properly, i don't really plan to buy a new one. Happy myLotting! :)

hello loca56, I don't think it's necessary to have a cellphone that is updated especially nowadays that life is getting harder and even if it's not. What's important for me is that I can receive text or call and be able to do the same to my family, coworkers and friends. The feature is not that much important though but the size for me matters a lot. For I'm just putting it in my pocket. I have my N70 cellphone for almost five years now. I got it free from the company where we invested some money as their promo for their product. Thanks to them.

Some other people make cellphone as a luxury but what is important to me in cellphone is the calling and texting features only.I have a digital camera and a computer so i dont always need my cellphone.As long as i can text and call,that's the most important thing for me.Some are really addicted and they keep on changing their cellphone unit by buying what is the latest.It becomes a wants already and not a need.

For my personal life am not need Hp like that, but some day maybe i will buy Black Berry 8800. If my work make me must always mobile, but right now am not yet need being mobile, so enough normal CP

I get a new one every year or every other year, when I can get a discount on one through my phone company. I get bored quick with them especially when new ones are coming out all the time.

To me a mobile phone just needs to have three functions, being able to call people on it obviously, texting and having a camera, they are important to me so any phone having these functions is good enough for me, it doesn't matter if it's updated or not, I look after my phones and tend to have the same one for over three years so they date very quickly and it can be expensive keep replacing them.

No, it is not important to have an updated phone. If there isn't anything serious wrong with the phone you already have then why go pay more money for another one. The only way I see myself getting an updated phone is if something goes wrong with the one I already got or if they are doing a recall on it. I do not understand why some people have to update their phones everytime a new one comes out, I guess they feel they need to keep up with the new things.

i hope our cellphone should be according to our requirements because i have seen many people who even do not know to use the mobile phone with many features. SOME want a light weight phone but some want a phone to take nice pictures.

It's not that necessary to have an up to date cell phone. As long as you got a device for important calls and text then I must say it's okay if your cell phone is not updated. by blink182m

Yes, it necessary to have updated cellphone. My Nokia 3310 need to update or may be upgrade. The size in Nokia 3310 not like in 20 century, more small and very easy to use.

Nope it's not. Why should we update our cellphone? Well if you're passionate on it then go for it. But for me, I have a cellphone coz of it's necessities. I'm using it to send text messages and for calls. Other features were just additional or for simple pleasure and I'm not really a fan of it.

Well you can have an updated one maybe once in a year or 2. More than that isn't required. If your using your cell just for calling, then even that isn't required.

I am technically challenged...LMAO, I am not kidding and I seem to have a genetic disfunction when it comes to technology items, so for me....less is more!! my cell phone can call out, receive, text, or surf the net which I dont have activated on my phone and it is almost 3 yrs old....I do have to get a new one and probably will towards the end of summer and closer to my bday(september)...but for now --if it isnt broke, dont fix it....for now. my husband is always complaining he needs more stuff on his phone, and he really wants to get a new one...and I keep putting him off telling him well we really need gas for the car too in order to get to those stores that cell those things he likes....LOL, I know so sad in todays economy.... but we will get new ones soon. I hope!!!

It depends on. If you are good at computer or cellphone, it may be a good idea. But some people feel it's headache to have a complicated cellphone. The more features mean nothing to them. They just use the simple usages of the cellphone. So it's not necessary for them to update the lastest cellphone. I love China

I have a very simple cell phone. It texts and makes phone calls. It can surf the net and it has a game on it but I never use either of those two things. If I want to play games or surf the net I have a computer for that.

For me, very important, but not adic. My phone should have camera, memory card and big phone book memory.
