ha ha ha ha ha... that is a good one.
Well, if I can choose, I would like to have a keyboard that has its numbers and lettering painted with luminous paint.
One where the letters and numbers glows with minimal light.
And this paid it very resistant to wear from constant typing.
Cos this will allow me to type in the dark room. I do not like to turn on a lot of lights when I use the computer. Cos the screen is bright enough for me to see pretty good. No need for extra light. But I get a problem of seeing my keyboard with the room lights off. A keyboard with the keys glowing from the ambient light from the screen would solve this issue.
Save me electricity and I get to type without having to squint my eyes to see the keys on the keyboard!

I have seen the 'foldable' keyboards like you are speaking of that are made of plastic. I would have to try it before I give my opinion.
As for keyboards being dirty I clean my keys with wipes once a week and at least once a year pop all the keys off (remember where they go!) and do a thorough cleaning.
Thanks

That's good. It is not easy to clean a keyboard. I guess it can be washed with water. Sometimes using a vacuum cleaner doesn't do the cleaning like water.
Actually I am not expecting too much from a keyboard. Having soft keys is enough for me.

you can buy those projection keyboards too. its a little thing looks kinda like a webcam or something, that plugs into your computer, and it projects an image of a keyboard onto your desk, and you can type on it.

You would get use to it fast I'm sure. When I was a kid I was learning to play the piano. I wanted to practice at home, so I would get better, but we could not afford even a keyboard, so I drew the keys on a board, and practiced my finger movements on the board. You just put less pressure on your fingers. With keys you have to press a bit. No keys you just lightly touch. Its less strain on your fingers.

Thanks for such a good news, a new improved keyboard and it is water proof. Right thats a good improvement of keyboard. I found when kids are trying to computer they make keyboard very very dirty. Sometimes it is very much tough to clean out some we can't see the dusts under keys. So, I think water proof keyboard nice improvement.

Really. That is right but naturally it is not dirty. When we are using for a long then it gradually become dirty. I think it is occuring only for the key structure of keyboards. If the water proof arrive to us then we may hope to get dust free keyboard. Am I wrong?

Wow, that sounds like a great idea, I clean my keyboard out and it's disgusting, all those hairs, dirt, dust, food even yuk! and yes I can understand it being far less hygienic. I want a keyboard that you can clean without having to take all the keys off to get rid of the muck underneath if that is at all possible. They harbour germs and bacteria and because I use mine so much it gets dirty very quickly!

I saw your question and thought "I would like to see an improvement in ease of cleaning a keyboard"
Then seeing what you wrote about a new keyboard that you can wash! wow, that would be a great improvement!
I did not know that a keyboard is considered to be dirtier than the comode. Yuck!
I would never wipe my bare hand all over a commode like I do the keyboard!

Good afternoon, youless. It is good to know that there is an improved keyboard, a waterproof one. You know, new technologies come into the market every day. I am so glad that we are living at a stage where science and technology are developing and upgrading so fast that we get benefit from them. Speaking of keyboard, I am a slow one when I have to use the keyboard of a desktop because I am only used to using the keyboard of my own laptop.

Hey,
Thank you for this, I never knew that you could get ones so good. My mother always likes to get a wet cloth with detergent on it and wipes the keyboard and leaves marks on it. Now I can tell her to instead, wash it completely!

ya, there is no surprise of a keyboard being more dirty than a toilet as we use keyboard more rather than our toilets and more over we take our laptops even to our toilets, so water proof keyboards are good to be welcomed and hoping for waterproof mouse , CPU Tower , monitor etc.
