A direct interview becomes more and more important for a job hunting as there are always many people compete for only one poistion.the resume is the first thing to impress the employer but as to all,it is the interview that decides who will be picked for their offer. I used to be very shy and kind inward, a face to face interview always make me ill at ease and I am so nervous that I can not express myself in my best manner, some time I come to a jam and even get red when I was start looking for a job before graduation.now I get better and better but still I feel a little nervous,I sort feel that it's because I am not so confident for myself but still I can not figure out why that happens.I rally need to solve this problem before I quit my current job and begin to look for a better one.does this happen to you guys, how you handle this or make you ease at such circumstance. This is not just to start a discussion,I mean it. any little suggestions will be appreciated.some one can share your expirence? Havea good day,MyLotters

In my opinion, the way we dress as well as our facial gestures are very important. The intervieweres are very sharp people and they notice evn the facial expressions. So, whatever facial expressions we form on our face, we have to be very careful and aware about it. Secondly, dress is important. The interviewer always notices the dress.

when u r on a direct interview ur appearance (dress well in ur formals and clean shaved, trimmed hair).. have a smile when u enter.. then a warm wish.. good morning or good afternoon.. do not show ur tense on ur face.. take ur seat when he says so.. dont give ur hand unless he gives u.. then try to answer all the questions.. the most common question is tell me about yourself.. so be prepared.. the flare for the language should be expressed here.. and be careful wit what u say.. because ur words are ur enemies.. they block u only from ur words.. so dont lie.. if u dnt know somethng accept it.. dont argue..

Speaking with confidene is one good way of impressing the interviewer. You should also prepare on your resume on what questions are going to be asked. The main question Tell me about yourself should be properly prepared. If there are two people in the room.Look at both the persons while speaking.

Ther are several skills and attributes which employers look for.The presense of good interpersonal skills goes a long way in ensuring succes in an interview. It also implies that persons who are not strong in these areas need to work on them, to be successful. Some of the most important skills which are taken in to notice by the interviewer are good aptitude, willingnes to explore and learn, flexibility and adaptability, good presentation skills, communication skills. Image and confidence also play a big role. happy myloting

Well for those who are well prepared,it can be a positive experience but for others it can be a terrifying time.Love them or hate them, though, your job prospects are largely dependent on your interview skills. usually companies give you at least a day's notice of an interview,so use that time to prepare yourself well:read through the job discription and any other info.sent to you and prepare answers to as many as you can think of...at the interview try to present a 'pleasant'version of yourself.and you need to convince the employer that you can do that job but you mustnot appear over-confident.being pleasent don't mean that you should agree with everything that the interviewer says. it's also important to make sure that you really listen to what is being asked.it's worthwhile spendinga few moments after the interview analysing your performance, you can do this best before you know the achievement.

I used to be like that before. But you have to improve self by preparing for an interview and learn how to deal with people.Read some magazines or books on how to impress the interviewer or the employer. This is not easy especially if you are shy but i guess if others can do why cant you?just be positive always and who knows,u will get a good job that u ever wanted.Trust God also and ask His guidance. He will give what is best for you.
