One of the first few things that come to mind when mentioning France is wines. People say French people have been making and drinking wine for a long time now. This wine-drinking is also attributed to them being healthier than others.
Is there any truth in saying French people are healthier due to their wine-drinking?

It may be part of it. But also do you know they eat only full fat food? None of that low fat garbage which is filled with high carb/calorie junk to make it taste close to real. They also do not eat junk food, walk alot, buy food fresh daily.
