Its one of the best movie ive seen. I was amazed of the faith and bravery of William Wallace. Did you know that hes body was chop 4 times i think and burried at the borders of scotland. And he was a national hero of scotland.

Mel Gibson's Braveheart is one of the greatest movies i've ever seen, along with The Patriot and We Were Soldiers, also by Mel Gibson. I have watched the movie several times over but i still have the same emotion whenever i see it.
You can feel Wallace's compassion for freedom specially when he addresses the whole army who got intimidated by the enemy's weaponry. Though under-equipped and out-numbered, he was able to encourage them to fight with all their hearts and they won the battle. "...they may take our lives, but they can never take our freedom!"

Braveheart is really a spectacular movie, I loved watching this film a million times without getting bored. This is one of the best films in the 20th century, in fact it won as best picture in Oscar awards in 1995. The story is really emotional, it talks about freedom and oppression. Mel Gibson starred and directed this film.

I enjoy this movie every time that I watch it. I saw it when it was in the theaters. The story grabbed me from the beginning. Mel Gibson's William Wallace makes you believe and hope for his people's future. Each time his own people let him down, you feel his frustration. And when you see the Bruce's betrayal you feel his heartbreak.
Also, even though there are only a few female roles, I love it that they are strong women. The wedding scene where the English come to take the bride away and the men start to fight, the bride is able to quiet the scene and save her groom's life. Knowing the sacrifice she will make will give them thier lives together. And the Queen standing up to Longshanks time after time, priceless.
There is a ton of blood and guts in this film. Definately not for kids or anyone who is squeamish. But war in those times was very up close and personal. But for adults who like historical dramas, this is a great way to spend 3 hours.
