Do you love God more than you love your parents?

Almost every religion- especialy the monotheistic ones- say that we should love God, first and foremost. All other things come afterwards. God comes first in our life. But is it so easy to love God, whoever and wherever he is supposed to be? Have you succeeded in loving God even more than you love your parents?

I do love God more than my parents. We are to love God with all our hearts, with all our soul, and with all our mind. He comes before family, but family is right after Him and then work and then play. We are to give Him all that we have and to serve Him with all our might. I personally, on judgement day, want to hear the Lord say to me, " Well done my good and faithful servant", instead of hearing Him ask me why I didn't do what I was supposed to while I was on this earth. He is the most important person and every decision I make is based on whether or not I have prayed about it and whether the Lord wants me to do it or not. Once I left my parents house and truly learned what it was like without God, loving Him first was never an issue. Parents are the same way though, they are to love God before anything else and realize that God loves us and our children more than we ever could. Hard to fathom sometimes, but it is so true. He is an awesome God and to not love and put Him first is just crazy to me. God bless

No, I love humanity more than God. To me, even a stranger is more important than God in the basic issues. For example, if there is a starving stranger in front of me and I am taking food as offering to God, I would give it to the stranger. Parents are something much more deeper, so the comparison does not arise for me.

Yes,offcourse. I love GOD more than my Parents. I know that through our parents we came to this world. That's why they have almost same position as GOD.
But One thing is they cant support or helo us through out of our life. They can only do their duty. But GOD everytime watching you. What u r doing ? Also if you love him in a real, faithful and loving heart he wil also respond your love. Its my feelings. And most of the time I feel it.
