Ladies when you put on your hottest outfits, dont you expect compliments ?

I mean that little black dress that just hugs your curves ,or that cute little pink dress that shows off your thighs or that blouse that has a "v" showing off enough cleavage. Maybe you don’t expect verbal comment but maybe as you walk past a group of men you just can’t help but sway your hips a little and you are rewarded by stares and open mouthed mindless zombies who are so entranced you could take their wallets and they wouldn’t know . Be honest now, even if you don’t want the situation I just described, at least you would want a few stares, I am not saying that you are so insecure about yourself, you need validation but every now and then wouldn’t it be nice if you were complimented by others and it doesn’t have to be men, it could be your friends. Ladies be honest now .If however you find compliment disgusting and you don’t care for them, please tell us as well and men you are also welcomed to join in and tell us if you compliment a well dressed woman and how you do so. Hope there is no sexist backlash for this one -----how dear I portray woman as meat only for men's attraction and pleasure !!!that type of thing lol...but please respond as you see fit

No matter what outfit I wear I wear it because I want to and because my husband thinks it is OK. I dress more for comfort than looks and I don't care what anyone else thinks about the way I look. I hate people staring at me so maybe that is why I dress the way I do - non-showy. LOL

there are so many ladies around us who take dressing up the way you do, us2owls. it is true that to dress up properly and right for the occasion is the best way to do it. no need for any of those attention getting clothings. but, as you have noticed too, there are some girls around (some are in fact in advanced ages already) who are noticeably overdressed walking the streets or spending hours at the malls, the parks, and other public places yet. they say that what it is that they decide to do with their life is nothing for us to mess with. maybe, but those who are around them will be affected by their clothing and their attitude in life, right? nonetheless, i do not concern myself so much with them. there are times though when i cannot help it but comment on how one woman looks so good with her outfit at times.

Everyone likes a little extra attention every now and then but I don't dress for others to appreciate. I dress to be comfortable. Now if I am going out some place extra special I would like to have a compliment every now and then.

Hi Ronnyb Everyone likes to dress beautifully, even i love it at times. Though i am working i love lot of formals and i don't have much sexy dresses in my wardroble. I am a jeans and shirt lover, but i wear it very nicely. I think they are comfortable and sexy. I wear narrow fitted jeans and a shirt which is body hugging, i love to show a little clevage, it looks damm nice and i love to wear knee length formal skirts. I feel sexy in whatever i wear and it feels good when people see you and comment you, when you know you are looking good. Blessings

Of course ladies will like to get some few stares whether they admit it or not. C'mon why would they spend half an hour in front of the mirror and anotehr half picking what to wear. Also we all know that short black dress will surely get some stares if not cat calls.

I think that when a woman dresses sexy she automatically demands compliments from the drooling guys that are staring at her. I thouroughly admire women for dressing nicely and looking good because they are so beautiful and sexy. I think that we should treat women like women when they dress really sexy because then they will do it more often. If we call women demeaning names for showing off their bodies then we are only hurting ourselves plus we all know the double standards that most men set for women it's kind of a depressing thing.

I think we should compliment women when they dress well but we should never be demeaning ,never but I also believe they should be classy too

I just turned 51 today and if I got that kind of attention I would probably fall over from shock! In a good way.... :-)

I don't have many hot and sexy outfits in my wardrobe these days. But when I do make the effort to dress up, then the compliments I am seeking are from my husband. I am not deliberately trying to attrack stares from mindless zombies, but I would not object. It is nice to know that I look nice when I dress up.

I don't dress for other men to stare at me. I dress for my husband. I don't mind people saying I look good, but I don't put on revealing clothes, period. I wear clothes that fit me, which is a different thing. But they aren't low necked to show cleavage, or so tight you can read the wrinkles, or split up the side, or above the knee. I see enough of that on television when the women want to be noticed on the news! Make me want to write the station and tell them to put on some decent clothes!

Sometimes it just feels good to get dressed up. I usually dress for comfort so when I dress up it's for an occasion and I go all out. It's nice to feel pretty and compliments with taste are welcome. Non tasteful compliments can make you feel worse about yourself and quite honestly make you want to change into your t shirt and sweats very quickly.I think that part of being a man is being able to be in the presence of a beautiful woman and know how to handle themselves.

Oh heck yeah! Compliment me til my face turns red! I love it. When I've taken the time to get all sexy, I want the stares! I once saw a guy run into a store shelf and I just know he was checking me out like a piece of meat. Ah yes, this chic still has it! I suppose there's a difference in the "type" of compliments. Some are more tasteful than others so to speak. But if I'm looking that good, who cares. It tells me that I'm ready for my man!
